Through The Static | Short Film

Congratulations to Rosie Kimberley-Brooks, Lucy Miles and all the team on the final release of Through The Static.

It was a pleasure to work with Daniel Leadbitter, Gus Gordon and Declan Sammon. The film touches on a very sensitive but important issue.

Anne, in support of The Globe

#SaveTheArts !

ANNE by Victoria Baumgartner, in collaboration with Will & Co, had it’s online premiere as part of Around The Globe In Eighty Plays, a virtual festival created by Claire Monique Martin to raise money in support of Shakespeare’s Globe.

“They never taught me how to read. In all the years I was wife, I never once read the plays”

Anne Hathaway was married to the most famous writer of all time when she was 26. Despite raising their family of three children, we think she never came to London to see Shakespeare’s plays. She is buried next to him, in Stratford-upon-Avon.

It was a pleasure to perform for this cause, and translating the piece for online was a totally new experience. Our trailer above gives you a flavour!

Visit the Around The Globe In Eighty Plays event page to watch back some great content from the three week long festival! https://www.facebook.com/events/680350525864655/?active_tab=discussion

“They never taught me how to read. In all the years I was his wife, I never once read the plays”

I had the pleasure of premiering this new monologue written by Victoria Baumgartner (Artistic Director of Will & Co.) which tells the untold tale of Anne Shakespeare, wife to the world-famous bard.

The piece debuted at the Pleasance Theatre, London as part of Glass Splinters New Writing Night.
