Working with Kid Quill

One of my samples… MEET ME AT SUNSET, the opening track of Kid Quill’s album

It’s been an absolute honour to collaborate with Kid Quill as a featured recording artist on his new album, SUNSET DINER.

Kid Quill has such a strong creative vision and it was very exciting to voice the narrative of this brilliant collection of songs.

Thank you to Mitch for being so open and inviting me on board, and to my ever-slick mentor and friend, Nick Clinch of Notable Voices, for seeing me through.

Fruitful: Horriful Edition

Performing A CHRISTMAS CAROL with Billy Knowles

Friday 25 November saw FRUITFUL: 3rd EDITION take place at the beautiful Bridewell Theatre, a space built on an old Victorian swimming pool (the spirits were out in force…!)

Jamie Lee Pike of Up The Ladder Productions programmed a wicked night of new writing, including Andy Marchant’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL with myself and Billy Knowles. Thanks to everyone who came down!

News Revue perform at the BBC

L-R: Emma Hough, Alexander Murray, Katherine Moran & Edward Bartram

Mum, I did the funnies at the Beeb!

News Revue were invited to perform at BBC Radio Hall and it was a joyful whirlwind. As you can see, we were very excited by our green room mirrors.

Thank you to our director, Edwina Strobl, for running the joint with effortless cool, to Josh Reichental for seamlessly slipping into the shoes for MD and keeping us funky on keys, and to our producer Emma Taylor for the brilliant opportunity.

Movement on Lysistrata

I had the absolute treat of assisting with Movement Direction on The Delta Collective’s most recent play, LYSISTRATA, at the Cockpit Theatre! 🎭

Directed by the extraordinary Olivia Stone, this play puts SEX, WAR and COMEDY at it’s core. The Delta Collective adapted the classic text to be fit for a contemporary, non-binary world and seriously – it was FIERCE. 🔥🔥

The show featured an incredibly exciting 🌟18-strong🌟 ensemble of emerging, physical-theatre actors, and it was a delight to explore the history of Greek theatre and embark on the adventure of bringing it to a modern audience, through text and physicality.

Where Do We Go Now

Here’s a few photos from the set of WHERE DO WE GO NOW, written and directed by young talent Louis Zimmer.

This short film explores sexuality, young love and heartbreak, and is due for release in September 2019.

Through The Static

Viewed through a monitor on set, Katherine faces a moonlit window

Just wrapped on a fab week’s shoot with Rosie Kimberley-Brooks’ on her latest short film, Through The Static.

I play Kayleigh as we follow her dealing with the immediate aftermath of a traumatic event. The film highlights some of the blurred lines within our justice system regarding sexual assault and is due to be doing the festival circuit later this year.

The team are still gathering funding for Through The Static and if you would like to support them, please check out this link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/through-the-static-short-film?fbclid=IwAR18B08RuGYY6qwanA2Ne2pPIPtQz0z1o_-GrzHlJwwh1InY3Uj_7OuWLD8#/

After The Dance

It’s been a pleasure to spend the last week playing Helen Banner in Terrence Rattigan’s beautiful After The Dance at the Hurlingham Club.

Under the direction of Gillian Hawser, with assistance from Samuel West, we had a week’s run at the gorgeous Mulgrave Theatre in Putney Bridge.
