Dance Reel

I started dancing at the age of four, as a form of physiotherapy for Congenital Hip Dislocation, which I had been born with (I have always maintained this would be my X Factor sob story).
This kickstarted a long, delicious adventure exploring many dance styles and refining my technical understanding in modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet & pointework, hip hop.

After 15 years of dance training, I was then able to further my awareness within my movement training at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Under the exceptional guidance of Vanessa Ewan and Debbie Green, my world was blown wide open through the teachings of Laban, animal studies, code work, gender workshops, Tai Chi and other movement fundamentals.
I have since gone on to choreograph and movement direct for numerous plays, music videos and films, as well as teach Movement and Dance to the Acting and Actor-Musician students at the London College of Music.
Discovering the landscape of movement as a metaphor combines my passions of acting and dance, and I relish the projects that I get to work on as movement director or choreographer.
